M. Lee Cohen Barrister and Solicitor - IMMIGRATION TO CANADA
FIVE STEPS
TO MAKING AN IMMIGRATION APPLICATION

The Canadian Immigration application process is lengthly and may be complex.

It requires the preparation of several application forms, the accumulation of numerous identity, educational and professional documents, financial and tax data, as well as medical and police certificates.

This information must be drafted and packaged in a comprehensive manner acceptable to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

We have endevoured to simplify the immigration process by creating a clear five step procedure.

There are no guarantees of success in Canadian immigration. Therefore we carefully and honestly assess every application at each step to offer our clients the highest chance of success, and to discourage less promising applications.

Please carefully read each of the 5 steps. If you are comfortable with our outlined procedure and wish to pursue your immigration application to Canada with our office, please scroll down to Step 1: Preliminary Questionairre.

1 To commence your immigration application, we need information about you. Please complete the preliminary questionnaire provided below. It is important that you complete all sections. When you are finished, submit the form by clicking on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.
2 We will carefully review your preliminary questionairre and advise you of our initial appraisal of your immigration prospects.
3 If we assess that your immigration application has a reasonable likelihood of success, we will ask you (and, where applicable, your spouse and dependant children 19 years of age and over) to complete a detailed questionnaire.
4 We will assess your detailed questionnaire and will propose the appropriate immigration application category for you and your family. We may determine that your application has little chance of success and will advise you accordingly.
5 If you wish to proceed further with your immigration application, we will require our legal retainer fee. Upon receipt of the fee, we will provide you with a detailed list of documents and materials we will require to properly draft your immigration application. The legal retainer fee will be held in Lee Cohen's solicitor's trust account pending submission of your immigration application to Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We hold your information in the strictest confidence.

We never divulge information to any local or foreign government, agency or organization without your prior approval.

We never sell our listings.

REFUND POLICY

Immigration applications are decided by independant officers of Citizenship and Immigration Canada. There are no guarantees of success.

Our legal retainer fee is not refundable after we draft your immigration application.

Under certain circumstances the legal retainer fee is refundable.

We are pleased to assess your preliminary and detailed questionnaire free of charge. If for any reason you change your mind before we draft your immigration application, we will refund the legal retainer fee.

We will not refund the legal retainer fee if any information you provide is dishonest or fraudulent or mis-reprepresents your situation.

APPEAL

In the event that your application is unsuccessful, Canadian Law may provide you with an opportunity to appeal a negative decision. An appeal is a separate matter which requires a new agreement and new professional fees.
